RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mount SMT components onto the printed circuit boards using pick and place machines.
  • Operating stencil printer machines, reflow oven, and conveyors
  • Inspecting paste and places parts on the board
  • Assembly tasks such as potting, cleaning, gluing, coating and epoxy bonding.
  • Maintaining all the machines and equipment on production floor as per ISO standards

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Supervise the entire operations in the production/manufacturing area
  • Plan, hire, and acquire resources for the Manufacturing group, to meet forecasted demand (including manufacturing staff, contractors, Software tools, equipment, ongoing staff training, etc.)
  • Plan and prepare annual budget requirements
  • Assist and provide leadership to the team responsibility of the entire preventive maintenance (facilities and equipment) and equipment calibration functions, on a regular basis for increase productivity and efficiency
  • Initiating and supervising appropriate preventive and corrective measures for performance bottlenecks, and quality control issues, that are compliant to the technical specifications and quality standards
  • Conduct research on existing processes, and carry out improvements, provide guidance on strategically important technologies and applications/markets, and keep up-to-date on emerging technologies and markets

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Familiar with general accounting principles and procedures, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsible for A/R and A/P, payroll, preparation of various financial reports for management, liaising with Customers, Suppliers, collections, government agencies and chartered accountants.
  • Effectively provides human resource functions including maintaining personnel files, position descriptions, benefits administration, employee orientation, and training records.
  • Maintains and records all business transactions, ensures that: accounts meet aging guidelines, follow up is made on late accounts receivable, Customer credit status is reviewed, and in general effectively Follow all established Business Management Procedures and make recommendations to improve processes controls files and documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develops financial policies, systems, and procedures to provide a complete financial operation service, including financial planning and analysis, general accounting, financial control, forecasting

  • Familiarity with Ontario Labor laws, payroll, and general Human Resource policies

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishment and control of production processes, methods and equipment, operating and manufacturing procedures /instructions, as assigned

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise & schedule daily activities and ensure execution of incoming inspection of raw materials or finished goods
  • Set-up schedules for job kitting, and ensure kit visibility report is updated daily. Supervise cycle counting of kits returned from manufacturing and subcontractors plus appropriate system transactions.
  • Ensure good housekeeping of warehouse, including labeling and intelligent organization of materials
  • Supervise weekly cycle count process and report relevant discrepancies in timely manner to the Operation Manager
  • Ensure, and maintain the: security, and efficiency within the materials warehouse by following established policy and procedures (as well as suggestions for process improvements).

  • Must have previous technical working expertise within the Electronics industry, preferably 5+ years for an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or with a contract manufacturer (CM), which would provide working knowledge and familiarity with electronic manufacturing processes and specialized techniques in handling electronic components and other miscellaneous raw materials, including analytical capability to diagnose and correct production problems

EDUCATION / COMPETANCE

  • Electronic Engineering Technician or equivalent technical degree (5+ years of broad technical experience in electronics)
  • Experience working within an ISO9001:2000 environment, and preferably training on internal process auditing, and statistical analysis (preferably practical experiences or training on Six Sigma)
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Complete understanding of applicable workmanship, quality and other industry standards, such as: IPC, ISO, WHMIS, RoHS, etc.

Ability to read, understand and explain technical product documentation: Product Specifications, Bill of Materials, Assembly Instructions and Illustrations, Schematics, Gerber/Layout Files.

  • Manage MRP/ERP purchasing planning
  • Select suppliers for best cost, quality, delivery and service
  • Coordinate standard costs in part master
  • Manage Supplier Contracts to meet company production targets and cost targets. Manage Purchasing Bonded Inventory programs, shared MRP Forecast programs.

  • Purchase parts as needed for production from the inventory list supplied by Production
  • Negotiate with existing suppliers to get the best price and delivery and payment terms for the parts to be purchased by issuing the purchase orders.
  • Source a new suppliers and parts as needed by the customers.
  • Establish positive relationship with all suppliers/ subcontractors for mutual benefits by conducting regular meetings.
  • Prepare quotations for the Customers BOM for the parts as requested by General Manager.
  • Train Buyers and assist administration when questions arises for the supplier invoices.
  • Train buyers to Purchase and source components from local and International Manufacturers Distributors.
  • Train buyers to use the Purchasing System to Issue the purchase orders, check History on parts and follow up on the Back orders.
  • Work very closely with General Manager and Production Manager to resolve any issues arising from components in a very timely Manner

  • 10+ years of experience in the Electronics industry Involving Procurement, Purchasing and sourcing wide variety of electronic, electrical, and mechanical parts and assemblies from National and International companies.

  • Carrie out sales activities with Customer accounts through personal contact, including negotiating price and other conditions of sale to enhance retention and maximization of major account revenue potential
